Went with a group of friends - among us there were 9 skiers and 3 boarders. We stayed in Arc 2000 at a catered chalet in Chalet L'Ours. It was advertised as ski-in-ski-out but really we had to walk 5 minutes to the lifts. Not far, but I'm disappointed it wasn't as advertised. Lovely chalet and hosts, overall great experience as company was great. Didn't do much apres ski so can't comment much on that. Out of the 5 days we ski-ed, we only had 2 sunny days, rest of them were snowing so visibility was really bad on higher altitudes. Have to say that there were lovely long red runs, there's a lot of flat blues which were less pleasant for boarders. Was quite put off by the non-existent queues to ski lifts, and being pushed and skis stepped on by others. I have to say that on sunny days especially, we wasted more time queueing and taking lifts/gondolas than actually skiing...

If I had to choose again I'd probably go for Arc 1950 - very pretty, and definitely more ski in ski out than where we stayed!
