Having been fortunate to have skied in Whistler several times from 2005 - 2011 (and my husband since 1997), we can honestly say Whistler has never disappointed. Great powder conditions are pretty much guaranteed, and with lots of tree line skiing available means it's a good place to retreat to even if the high alpine has white-out conditions, so you can still enjoy a good days skiing. Brilliant runs and play areas (on and off piste), fantastic apres-ski, a great selection of restaurants to suit all pockets and loads of shops, Whistler really does have it all!

Went to Whistler with my family in March 2012 and loved every minute of it. Flew into Vancouver (stunning City) and really easy two hour drive from the airport up into the mountains and straight into the town. Stayed in a great Chalet just two mins walk from the centre of town - we were made to feel v welcome from the first night. Skiing was superb with a great range of beginner, intermediate and advanced skiier brother dragged me down a black mogul infested run - good fun once you've made it down ok!!
All the lifts were superb - as you would expect from a modern resort and there are plenty of good ski schools for beginners.
The town itself is situated at the bottom of two glaciers and has a good mix of hotels, shops and places to eat/enjoy yourself. Not too big and not too small, its the perfect size to cater for the numbers on the slopes. Would thoroughly recommend this place if you are going with friends or as a family.
