Had an amazing experience and trip. Pas de la casa is great for people looking for a good bargain. Slopes were pretty good - went in April but there was good snow that year which made all the difference. Mainly blue and red runs so good place for beginners / intermediate and families alike. Skied down to Grau Roig on our last day there - the view was amazing. Most people spoke English, especially useful with English speaking ski instructors- in a country that's mainly Francophone.

We stayed at the Manzano apartments which was about 5 minutes walk to the slopes. Eating out was really affordable too and most restaurants / cafe has free wifi. Lots of English / Irish pubs about so you'll never feel homesick. good night life and pub crawls etc at night. There's also a few supermarkets in town for those looking to cook their own food at home.

Had the best hot chocolate with marshmallows and whipped cream along with live music every evening at Pas 83- if you rented a locker with them, you even get a free drink every evening at happy hour! Loved the whole experience all in all.

Super friendly locals and seasonaires, with all amenities being super cheap. Your lift pass for Grandvalira covers a huuuuuge range. The snow was sadly lacking when we went, with the artificial snow cannons working over time. When it did snow(on the last day!!) there was so much choice! Piste, off piste, park. Night time is very 18-30 style, with more emphasis on the 18's I think ha ha. Needless to say, you are never stuck for somewhere to drink, but I would prefer a little older clienetele and some more upmarket bars.
Overall I would say, nice range, check the weather before booking and party with the kids!
